The original Giant Loop (for supermoto and motard style bikes) and the larger Great Basin (especially for BMWs, Suzuki V-Strom, KTM 950, 990, Adventure and SE models, Kawasaki KLR 650, etc.) are the brainchild of Dave Wach, a serious dirt rider who has criss-crossed the desolate wilderness and forested mountains of Oregon for years and years.
Over more than a decade, Dave developed soft luggage - modified backpacks, initially - for himself with no idea of producing them for sale. Well, those modified backpacks turned into something amazing, and Dave was beset with requests for them. First his regular riding buddies started asking for soft bags for their bikes, and then their friends started clamoring for them. Somewhere amid constructing luggage for friends and friends of friends, it dawned on Dave, "I am not alone in thinking these are the best solution to the dirt-biking luggage problem."
With help from friend, rider, writer, web-guru and marketing specialist Harold Olaf Cecil - aka The Man with Three First Names - Dave launched Giant Loop in September 2008, and now Dave's circle of friends is growing by leaps and bounds as more and more discover Giant Loop.
Giant Loop, made by and for real riders, is the soft luggage problem solver for adventure touring bikes.
