Fits the older Exped valves but is not compatible with the new flat valves. An adapter is provided for use with Big Agnes and Neo-Air valves. When you’re done inflating your sleeping mat, close off the ports and the pump becomes a minimalist pillow! It isn't the greatest pillow--it's very low and small--but hey, it's better than a rolled-up riding jacket. I have used these pumps for several years and am undoubtedly the most talented and masterful operator of them on the planet. The pump works GREAT, but only if you learn how to operate it properly. I wish I had a dollar for every customer who blamed the product for their inability to operate it. If you're impatient, clumsy or just sort of stupid, please don't order one of these. Confession: I do not use an Exped Pillow/Pump as my primary pillow. I slip it under my pillow to give it a bit more elevation. Works great.
